The Stocks are up, The Death Toll has risen, The Green Bay Packers beat The Washington Redskins^37-0_Damn!, and my life is forever changed. It seems things happen so quickly these days. I remember when I was little that everything went fast like this. The only thing I didn’t realize was that at that time, the stock market crashed and we were still in the remnants of the cold war. We were under a Republican President at the time, and now, we are also under a Republican President. I may hate Bush, and his politics, but I do like the team he has behind him. And in a strange way I am glad that Bush is the president now because of that team. There is something that none of us seem to realize though. Did you know that the US trained Bin Laden? Did you know that the US gave Bin Laden his weapons? The Cold War is what made us do that. Afghanistan used to be on our side. Now we want to turn that country into a lake. In a kind of existentialist way, we trained the people to kill us.
