Vague memory of 2000

Yes indeed. Unfortunately we still do not know who the governor is supposed to be. Oh well. At least there are no electoral votes to figure out. Hell, if we didin’t have to deal with that in 2000 (as you all know) Al Gore would be our president right now. Fuck the republicians.

Rock the vote (damnit!) 1

So I went and voted today after work, I now realize why so many people don’t vote. You have to get up, drive the voting place, wait in line, vote for the first 5 to 8 people on the ballot who’s names are familiar ( if you follow politics that is, it could only be 3 or 4) then figure out if you have heard any of the other peoples’ names and make a decision right there. What a horrible way to vote! I suppose I didn’t have to vote for them, but damnit, it seems like such a waste of space to not vote for the people on there.

After I voted, I walked out into an exit pole, then I got interviewed from NPR and The Birmingham News. Arggh! Too many things to think about when voting, they need online voting machines. This would make people not have to get up and deal with all of the circus like freaks in the world of politics.

Figure Skating, Football, and God

Sundays are always bad for entertainment on the television. It was either watching God on 3 channels (in perfect picture) Figure Skating (in somewhat good picture) or Football (in horribly bad, can’t see whats going on, can barely hear the announcers, picture) So I sleep. Slept the day away. I slept like a baby. And did it feel good! Electric blanket and all.

Hot Chocolate before bed, and makes me feel all cozy inside.
