It looks like Craig will be leaving and his position will be open! This is good news to me. (Craig is the IT Guy at work) He put his 2 weeks notice in yesterday.

My car broke down again today. I don’t know what is wrong with it but i have a sneeking suspicion that it has somethinq to do with my alternator, battery, or starter. I would love it if somebody were kind enough to help me fix my car.

String of events 2

Thursday at lunch I went to find a geocache, plotted the coordinates and it came up where some folks were exercising, decided to come back to find the cache later that night… That night, went to the coordinates with Bret, found the cache, went to another cach in wetumpka, went home… Went to work on friday, came home for lunch, only to find out that the spot where the cache was had been hit by somebody or some people from the Earth Liberation Front, they spray-painted anti-war sentiments on cars and tourched a cargo truck over there.. Went back to that cache to place a travel bug and one of the guys out there notices my car, he comes over to me and asks if I was there yesterday, they saw me driving in the area and wanted to know if, in fact, that was me. Well, for fear of anything really bad coming up on me, I went ahead and did the “right” thing, by giving him the details of what I saw that night, what I was doing out there, and looked at me like.. “WHAT?” so I gave him my number and information to give me a call back if they needed a written statement. Weird stuff. Weird indeed.

Sitting here at work bored to death. Got an application in the mail for a state IT position, I will be sure to fill that out and mail it back today after work. God I could a drink.
$25,000 base salary. With that money I wouldn’t strugle.

Busy Weekend 1

Indeed, it was a busy weekend, and now I am worn thin with all that was done.
Went to Birmingham (BirAngelaham), and of course, as the parenthetical note stated, met up with Angela to go to Target, The Summit and P.F. Chang’s. Only to have us leave our to-go-boxes and her credit card there. (Yes, we went back to get the card, but left the food there out of pure embarasment.)
Today, Erika and I officaly registered at Williams Sonoma. Okay, so it was my idea, I must admit, but damnit, there is something about those metalic red kitchen-aid mixers, and those over-sized spatchulas, and extravagant french whisks, not to mention the stainless steel bar tools set. Hum. Stopping now, going to bed.
Goodnight.
