Haven’t updated in several days now and thought it would be a good time to catch up. As I am sure almost all of my friends know, Erika has been out of town since Wednesday. She doesn’t come back in until tomorrow night. I miss her. Its funny how one can be attatched to a person so greatly and not even begin to comprehend how much they really mean to you until they are out of your life for even a small amount of time. I will be glad to see her tomorrow.
Thanksgiving was good. Got to see family that I haven’t in quite some time. My Aunt Jill and Uncle Dave came in town from New Mexico. My cousin Shannon was supposed to come, but because her daughter was sick, she was unable to make the trip from West Palm. I don’t believe I have seen her in a few years now, and it would have been nice to see her again. Hopefully she is doing well, and her daughter gets well soon.
As far as I go, I have been bored out of my mind the last day or so. To the point where I have nearly lost my mind. How do I get out of this boredom you ask? Thats right, take apart my powerbook (even the screen) and do a case mod. Right now I have all of the case parts drying from the paint I used. With any luck it will be dry by the time I get home and ready for me to put the gloss finish on it. Then I can wait for that to dry and piece it back together. Crossing my fingers the whole while that it works once I have gotten it re-assembled. I feel confident that it will work, and on top of that, the paint job on it dosen’t look half bad. In fact, I am impressed with the work I have done, but I don’t want to jinx myself, so i will leave it at that.
Sitting at work right now, waiting to get home. I have a lot of things I need to do before Erika gets back. I want her to feel special when she gets back.
