“Big Gulps”
Whatever happened to the days when we were kids? Freedom in the summer. Bicycles were our primary form of trasportation, and we were only limited to how far we were willing to bike. The hot summers didn’t seem to have an effect on our days in the sun. Ride down to the seven eleven, and grab a big gulp of brainfreeze.
I used to love the days when my friends would come over to the house, and we could hop on our ten speeds and let the day take us where we wanted to go. No money to buy great wonderful things, just the company of our childhood friends, and the freedom of the long summer days, and warm muggy nights.
Look at us now. We wake up in the morning with our suits and ties, to go to our jobs just in order to break even. The hot, bright sun is our enemy in our nice clothes. The days of childhood are gone, and there is nothing we can do to bring those days back, just the memories of our carefree youth.
