My name is John and I am a 27 year old systems administrator. I do web design. I like backpacking. I use WordPress. On this site I talk mostly about the things I like. This is a site about me.

Already the week has been bad, and I will role down the list of why this is…

My Dad had a heart-attack
Because of #1, I haven’t had much sleep
Because of #2, I haven’t been very alert
Because of #3, I have been very repeditive
Because of #3, I have been very repeditive

Anyway, you get the jist of it all. It hasn’t been a good week so far. I will say, however, that the engagement party went quite well. Even if my Mom and Dad could not make it because of the previously mentioned incident. I was still able to have a good time and get my mind off of the events of the day, and the events to come.

Hey bro,

Not like there's anything I can really do, other than pray to the big man upstairs, but I just wanted you to know that you and your family have been in my thoughts since I heard about this. I hope things get a little more normal for you guys coming up here.

Congrats on the party too! Wish I could have been there to share in your happiness. =)
