Regarding the Terry Shiavo situation. I don’t agree with them taking this to a federal court. The Florida decision should have remained. This is nothing more than a political push for republicans to corner democrats at their weakest.
There are far more things congress and the executive can spend their time working towards. The war in Iraq for one. Also this non-existent “shortage” in social security. Of course, the deficeit, domestic woes, marriage rights, improving the well-being of our citizens, and even becoming a country others can respect has nothing on a woman’s case that has already gone through the legal system in Florida. Lord forbid we actually take the side of the Mrs Shiavo in this one.
The government has overstepped its boundries once again. Between trying to undo the ruling of a state court (whether legal or not) and trying to nationalize the Major League Baseball Association it appears congress has no idea what they should be doing. I say we think next time we vote, and kick these idiots out of a position they don’t quite understand.

um…the MLB is national
I meant make it a government entity. As of right now, there are canadian teams in the MLB, I don’t understand how the US can control it.
oh, i get you…were they really thinking about that, or is it just coincidence that montreal and toronto lost their franchises? i thought it was just because no one was going to the games.
Can get us front row ticketsfor the game on the 2nd @ 7:30pm. Each seat is $22. If you want to sit back a bit, the lowest the tickets go is $7 a piece. Let me know if Erika wants to go and where you guys want to sit.
this all scares me, I think the republicans are fortifying their positions in the government more and more everyday. I am nearly ready to give up on this country and jump ship before it goes down.

Better start jumping now. It takes about 16 months to get citizenship granted in Canada, and lord knows you don’t want to live in Mexico.
