Last night I was watching Pulp Fiction on Bravo. I never catch the beginning of these movies when they are on TV, but I do enjoy watching them until the end anyway. Besides it is Pulp Fiction, I know the beginning, I know the end, but I am still compelled to watch the whole thing.
Erika said something about the movie that I never thought about before. She said, “This is our Godfather”
She’s right. One day we, and I mean all of my friends reading this, will talk to our children and mention something about the movie, and they won’t have a clue. The kids will then find their own movie. Let’s hope it is as good as Pulp Fiction, or Godfather, let’s hope those that enjoy Godfather like Pulp Fiction.
For those of you addicted to graphic design, ad design, and overall creative advertising, I posted something about some clever shopping bags on my other blog.

That’s a damn fine observation actually. Or rather a great way to put it. I’ve actually had similar conversations with people about what a defining cultural “moment” that movie is. If I recall, I usually have these conversations after reading some magazine article citing our generation’s lack of “good” movies and music.
“Pulp Fiction,” despite it’s status, still seems oddly ignored by a lot of people. I think its a generational thing.
