My photography excursion today worked out perfectly. These pictures were taken in downtown Montgomery. This
used to be part of an old CSX train yard. This particular location was used for the engines of the trains. I suppose this is where they worked on them and maintained the trains. This is only a few blocks away from the Union Station. Probably one of the most famous landmarks in Montgomery.
I still have a number of photos that I haven’t edited yet stowed away on my hard drive. They are in RAW format and because of that do not contain the color profile to be viewed the way they were meant to be viewed. Photoshop work will be done, but until then I have posted some of them already on flickr. In addition, I have also posted one on my photojournal.
I hope to use some of the photos as nice art to put on the bare walls of my home. Again, the RAW format should come in handy for this because I might be able to blow them up to a decent size. I also hope that I can get a good series out of these and maybe print 3 or 4 of them and place them into a couple of frames side by side. Crossing my fingers!

I went out there a few months ago with my Canon Rebel II film came before I bought by Sony A-100. It was awesome. I had to resort down to my cell camera when I ran out of film. Nice shots. Added you on my flickr.
