Middle Class
I can’t help but think the United States has become more class hungry than I can ever remember, or even look back in history to prove wrong. When watching the news tonight about the food bank, it struck me the way they used the term middle class. At what point did being middle class mean being poor? Shouldn’t the middle class be where you would expect it to be? You know… in the middle?
This either tells me the middle class hasn’t changed in the amount of money it has relative to other classes and that it takes more money to get by, or that the definition of middle class needs to change. The later isn’t answer enough, I believe the former is only the tip of the iceburg. Whatever, more on this later I suppose, I am busy paying my bills I can’t afford.
