Today I got a bunch of comment spam, I was lucky enough to be at my computer while it was happening as i could follow it all in real time. Here is what it looked like.

I use disqus as my comment management system instead of the default wordpress comment system. I haven’t received spam in a very long time because almost all of it gets caught. But sometimes I will have one or two go through. I took the time to reasearch this in the past to find out that the few that did go through were from what appeared to be real people, visiting the site, going to a page and pasting in their spam and hitting submit.
Well, mr. furcoo seems to be the same type of person, actually wasting his time to put spam on other people’s sites. Check out my stats for his spam:

I just wanted to take the time to say thanks to mr. comment spammer for screwing up my stats. That’s going to throw off some data.
